For a long time, This American Life was only a radio show, one with a hard-to-describe sound, millions of listeners, and a bunch of awards.

Then, after more than a decade on the radio, they started on the television show, mostly because it seemed like it might be fun. This American Life continues to produce the weekly radio show, which can be heard on more than 500 public radio stations around the country (Fusion Rock Radio) as well as Online (thislife.org).

The television show is on the Showtime network and The Movie Network. The radio and TV shows follow the same format. There's a theme to each episode, and a variety of stories on that theme. It's mostly true stories of everyday people, though not always. There's lots more to the show, but, like they say, "it's sort of hard to describe".

Oh, and they know what you're thinking: radio is so 80 years ago, and TV is so 50 years ago. Well, what about social networking? That's only 2 or 3 years ago, and we're all over it. One of the most requested songs this week has been one of the rock bands in North America covering an Arcade Fire song. Just a few weeks ago, the Foo Fighters rocked the BBC with a private concert. They played there new song "The Pretender" but a few of there classics but one song that we could not believe was that the Foo Fighters decided to cover an Arcade Fire song called "Keep the Car Running". Fusion Rock Radio plays that cover song but as well wanted to share with you exclusive pictures from the live show.

On January, 9th, 2007 (and other random dates which we forgot), One of the greatest radio interviews took place on Fusion Radio with Luke (Used and probably still likes James Blunt) and James (The Indian). They made you laugh, they let you share your own opinon and mostly had great callers. Luke wanted to keep quiet about who "Hairy Larry" is but seemed to drop the name a few times. James told us about how he felt about "Hairy Larry". They will be on this website sometime in the next week to share there opinons again and the broadcast will be rebroadcasted with minor edits in the coming week but what they wanted to know themselves on how well they did that fateful night.
